Get out of your way and GO Heal

Anyone can “heal”. Anyone can be a facilitator to help someone in their healing using modalities such as: touch, voice, sound or reading; as long as the set intention is for healing.

Get out of your way and GO Heal

And so I hosted a level one Reiki this week or something like that. It has been a long time since I taught last and I didn't actually know what to call this healing course as it was no longer the “canned” version of Reiki that I learned years ago. I have changed. My methods and practices have changed and so has my ability to become a better conduit for healing.

What I mean when I say a better conduit is that I enter the state of love and I am better at getting out of the way for channeled healing, for I am not a healer. I facilitate healing for you on your healing journey. To do this, I “hook up” to Source energy and then get out of the way so that my thoughts or my human limitations in beliefs or in second guessing myself do not affect the outcome of the session. If we wholly enter the state of love there are no rules to healing. There are no strategies of engagement. There is no attachment to success or failure. There is only Source and when we are listening to Source as a pure channel it opens up a doorway for a completely unbiased and unstructured healing. There is only Source nudging you, telling you what needs to be done. Without rules, without an attachment to success or failure, it becomes joyful play, a gift or service for us, for others and as an extension of Source itself.

I didn’t learn to hold the hand of the person I am healing when I learned Reiki. I didn’t blow away stagnant particles of energy using my breath or tap a meridian to get it moving. I didn’t pull visible cords that stick out of the body, seen by turning my head sideways to look at the client’s profile of energy.

Anyone can “heal”. Anyone can be a facilitator to help someone in their healing using modalities such as: touch, voice, sound or reading; as long as the set intention is for healing.

The only process that I use now in my various modalities is as follows:

1. Suspend your beliefs and expectations. (It isn’t up to us what happens or doesn’t happen, even though sometimes we want our client to jump off the table yelling “I am healed!”)

2. Set an intention for the session. Maybe something like “Let whatever needs to happen, happen, for their best and highest good” and WE don’t always know what that is or what it looks like. Sometimes it’s hard not knowing and needing to trust!

3. Put yourself into a love state. I have various ways I do that, sometimes thinking about how we are all connected here on earth and seriously trucking along doing the best we can. Sometimes I envision flying into space and allowing myself to flip into this beautiful Source energy, surrounding myself in the feeling of unconditional love and the feeling of being HOME.

4. And then I work with my client, listening to the suggestions and nudges on how to proceed. It can feel like ideas that come out of nowhere or pictures that present themselves or urgers to move along and work with something else. In allowing myself to move aside, Source can instruct me on what needs to be done.

This approach to healing works for Reiki, Theta Healing, doing channeled readings, hypnosis and counseling. It doesn’t matter your modality, as it’s the same process.

Let’s move out of the way and allow Source to heal, to heal ourselves and each other! It looks like joyful play when we take the stressy feelings of self judgement, expectations, failure or the not good enough thoughts out of it.

Set your intent and go play in some Source energy and Heal
